	Step 1: Obtain a Permit A mailing permit application is required in order to mail your EDDM campaign with the USPS. You can download the application in PDF form directly from the USPS website. After filling out the application, take it to your local Post Office for processing.

	Step 3: Define Your Reach You've filled out your Permit application, you've created your USPS online account, now you're ready to determine your target area.
